Please note we need all details submitted by Thursday 28th December 2017 so that they can be processed successfully. If data is missing after Thursday 28th December 2017 your application will be void.
Terms when using this website
On accessing this website and submitting your details you agree that DBS Central can begin process the relevant check. Prior to submitting your details you will have decided which of the 7 types of check you require. Our support team can advise you on this but it is your sole responsibility to choose the correct one. If you have submitted your details and applied for the wrong item it is not our responsibility.
After submission of your data you are giving us permission to check through your data for errors, as well as submitting your data to the relevant parties for the sole purpose of completing your application. If you have submitted incorrect data and our submission is incorrect that is also not our responsibility.
By accepting our ‘Terms and Conditions’
By accepting these terms and conditions by accessing this website you agree that you are paying for a service fee of 64gbp or 74gbp depending on which service you order from us.
You confirm that all the information you are providing us is accurate and correct.
You confirm that you are paying a service fee to an independent company. You confirm that the service fee is for our trained team to consult with you, review and submit your details in order for you to obtain your DBS. You understand that our team will review and process your application within 24 hours or 2 or 3 days (depending on which plan you order) as soon as you have made payment. If you are not contactable via email our team will need to contact you via the telephone number you have provided us.
Exclusion of liability
DBS Central does not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using this Website or the services offered herein including but not limited to; financial loss, failed interview arrangements.
DBS Central cannot guarantee and do not promise a specific outcome from the use of the services offered. The services to you are provided without warranties for anything whatsoever including but not limited to reliability, suitability, adequacy, accuracy, timeliness, completeness.
Information submission policy
You agree to submit all the relevant documents to us so that we can process your application successfully. If you cannot submit digital copies via our secure online form or email you can post photocopies to the address provide. We cannot provide refunds based on your inability to provide us the correct information.
Once you have submitted your details our team will usually review your information within a few hours. Your application is then processed within 24 hours or 48 hours depending on which plan you paid for. If more information is required we will get in touch by email. Once we have everything ready, the application will be processed in a matter of hours and the basic disclosure certificate will be dispatched to the current address provided on the application, this usually takes between 7 and 14 working days depending on national application volume.
If your application has not arrived because of delays in the postal system or because you have given the wrong address you can contact us. We will then give you instructions on how to get a replacement resent out – you can only do this within 30 days of ordering. We are not liable for any delays in the postal system.
45 day inactivity policy
After you have ordered from us our team will get in touch with you by email to confirm that we have all the relevant information from you. If after 45 days you still haven’t submitted all of the relevant information we will have to mark your application of void with no refunds given.
Please note all orders made in 2017 but be fully completed and submitted by Thursday 28th December 2017 – orders after this date will be also be void due to new regulations coming into effect on 1st January 2018.
If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us immediately as we are unable to cancel orders that have already been processed (orders are always processed within the first 12 hours of ordering). Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 all orders are considered ‘custom’ and therefore the statutory 7 day return period does not apply.
In the event that you are not satisfied with the service provided by DBS Central for any reason whatsoever please get in touch with our refund department (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 12 hours for a refund. Please include the email address you used when ordering and your 9 digit DBS reference number. If your refund request is applied for 12 hours after submission then we can give a full refund minus a 27gbp administration fee. You will still receive anything you ordered from our website in full.
We reserve the right at our discretion not to accept any order. If we do not supply goods for any reason we will not charge you for them and we will refund any money already paid for them. We will not compensate you for any other loss, which you may suffer if we do not supply goods.
You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the dbscentral.co.uk without permission from dbscentral.co.uk.
